My first day of school was fun! There are lots of birds and fish and other things to chase in the Green, which is like the farm at home, but with a kraken. I think it is like a very big e elegans? There are other cats, too. They don't have wings, and I haven't tried to talk to them yet.

I learned about pizza, and people gave me food! Lots of food. On plates and up on tables, and they talked to me and petted me and asked questions. The teacher told me there is not food in all of the classes.

Also, the science class blew up. I don't think this was supposed to happen, but it was a class on combustion, so maybe? I think everyone is all right, so it doesn't matter!

I am going to go explore the Nexus now, and then go home!

Today, I go to school!  Mother is excited for me.  She says it is always good for her children to be educated and learn new things.  I think she believes me, about the Nexus.  But she says to be careful, and not to trust everyone.  I know that!  Some people might want to keep me, and being kept is boring.  I like being FREE~

Also, I can type!  It is very slow, though.  I do not think I will do it much.  And read!  But only in the Nexus.  Outside of the Nexus, the letters don't make sense.  And human beings only understand me here.  It must be Magic?  Or maybe it is Not Magic.  Maybe it is just Real.  Maybe school can tell me the difference?

I found a pretty thing in the Nexus.  It was in a junk pile.  I do not know why.  It is shiny and silver and small and fun to play with.  I cannot take it to school with me, though.  The headmaster (this is a New Word!) tells me I must leave it at home.  This is okay, because I still come home at night; and then I can see Mother and Sarah and my pretty thing.  The Nexus is only for the day.
